In the late 70`s when the population of China was approaching 1 billion the Chinese government enforced the one-child-per-family policy in effort to curb overpopulation. This law has some unplanned consequences so they decided to bring balance back by allowing couples to have 2 children.
Today (even with the 1 child policy that lasted for 35 years) China has a current population at around 1.4 billion people.
These 10 photos are a good example of how insanely crowded this country has become.
