It`s unavoidable for the ice to crack, especially when the frost is heavy, but these cracks are not ordinary because some of them are 10-30 km long and 2.3 meters wide.

The lake stays frozen until May, but April is probably your last ticket if you want to spend some time ice skating and wandering on its frozen surface.

The bubbles you see in some of the pictures are actually created from methane gas that’s is produced by the algae growing in the lake.

Some people say that this is most amazing place in the whole world…. What do you think, are they right?
