This summer travelers who are visiting U.K. and Europe, are asking for an answer for how will affect the nation the recent U.K. decision to withdraw from the European Union.
Now the British pound is the lowest in the last 30 years. This is a consequence of the Brexit vote. At this moment one pound costs $1.30, compared to the previous $1.50. As a result of this American travelers can get more money when exchanging for pounds.
U.S. Is Expensive for British Travelers Now
The currency devaluation will be experienced by the British travelers who are visiting the U.S.A.
Not A Big Difference
The spokesperson for the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ashley Garrigus, stated that they didn’t have any new information and the guidance to U.S. travelers hadn’t been changed. She pointed out that if the travelers want any information, they can always check the State Department’s website.
